BLACKSMITHING
Blacksmithing is turning a profit at last with a few requests for hand made items , such as fire sets and ornamental bits and pieces.
Chris and I are heading up to Angaston next weekend to do some demonstration work and finish off a few projects.

Angaston is a different place with out Merv around to make us laugh.
Last month we made a set of pokers for our favourite watering hole(hotel). The poor buggers were using twisted fencing wire to stoke the fire.
We also have the Royal Adelaide Show coming up soon, so we have to put our imagination to work to come up with a design to enter into the home exhibit. September is going to be a busy month.
The Victorian Artistic Blacksmith association are holding a Golden Anniversary workshop at Mt Martha in September and myself, wife and one of our lady smiths are going to attend.
