2011 so far....
The first activity this year was to attend the Angaston forge on the 9th of January with a new member in tow. Chris and myself went up for the afternoon and had a fairly successful day with Jason. He had never forged before and I believe he had a good time. We stopped at the Pindarie winery on the way home. They have a renovated horse stable attached to the main building. The owner Greg and Wendy are keen to have us up there for special occasions. The winery has a nice view of the northern end of the Mt Lofty Ranges and has a nice selection of food and wine. It will be quiet a nice experience to work up there I'd imagine.

This last week saw us return to TAFE to look over the equipment that is left in the forge where we trained. The forge area is being used as a storage bin but some of the equipment remains including tongs anvils and a swage block. We have made a list to present to the general manager so we will see how we go as far as getting some of the equipment.
The Pres is on holiday's for two weeks so I think it will be quiet as far as forging goes. I hope to get out a few days in the forge and keep the hammer swinging. It's painful not to keep up the exercise.
We had a good day up at Tailem Bend on the 19th of Jan. We didn't sell a lot but we had a crowd standing around getting some education, and that's not a bad thing.
Terry talking up a storm.Meanwhile I'm busy trying to find information on our power hammer on the net, but it's proving to be difficult.
